As of August 31, 2007,
NO CHARCOAL fires anywhere.
NO SMOKING except to developed sites with 3 feet of cleared area.
Petroleum stoves, lanterns, heaters are Okay (if it can be turned OFF).
Wood fires ONLY in FS Provided rings, grates or grills in Campgrounds. |

Campbell Creek = $5 (8 sites)

| What is available at the campgrounds? |
- All campgrounds have operating outhouses, picnic tables, and fire rings (the only place where fires are allowed during restrictions).
- Drinking Water - Only the Esterbrook and Curtis Gulch campgrounds have drinking water at this time.
- Trailers up to 22' may be maneuvered within the campgrounds. Please use caution and common sense.

| What are the rules for dispersed camping? |
Dispersed = FREE
- No more then 300 feet off the road using most direct route.
- 200 feet minimum from any waterway (even dry) for washing game or human waste disposal.
- at least 1/4 mil from any campground
- NO open fires at dispersed sites.
- Maximum stay is 14 day (stay longer and you will be fined)

| What are the rules for disabled hunters? |
to use a wheeled motorized vehicle further than 300 feet from an existing FS road to retrieve lawfully harvested game you
- Must carry your disabled hunting license.
- Must use most direct route to and from carcass.
- Must ensure no resource damage occurs.

| When do I need a sticker for my ATV? Where do I get the sticker if I need one? |
- On any FS TRAIL you must have an ORV sticker issued from the county courthouse.
- On FS ROADS either county issued sticker or license and legal place.
- ORV stickers are purchased at the Converse County Courthouse (107 N. 5th St.)
- Licenses and legal plates are required on any COUNTY ROAD that runs through FS.

| How do I know when I am on public land? |
| Use the map and your odometer. |

| What are the rules for State lands? |
Points to remember are:
- NO camping
- NO open fires
- NO off-road use
Please realize that just like Federal land - you must have legal access. |

| How do I know which roads I can use? |
For Laramie Peak Mountain area, only those roads marked with a numbered sign are open for motorized use.
For Thunder Basin National Grasslands, all roads are open unless marked closes.
In both areas you are only allowed to drive up to 300 feet off the road to establish your campsite or retrieve big game. |

| What safety and health precautions do I need to consider? |
- Water - take what water you will need with you. Little or none available.
- West Nile Virus - be sure to use a bug spray containing DEET.
- Snakes, Bears, Lions - We have them, if you keep a clean camp, you probably won't see them.
- Chronic Wasting Disease - found in deer on the mountain and some areas of the grasslands. The highest incident is on the mountain (30-50%).

| How do I have my animal tested for CWD? |
The Wyoming State Vet Lab in Laramie can test your animal for $25. you need to take the animal (at least the head) to Laramie and they will take a tissue sample.
- CWD resided in the brain and spinal column.
- Heads and hides - know rules for your state prior to transport.
- Processed meat is safe to transport.
